The Canadian Truckers Have Proved This: Athletes Really Hate Regular People

    Wayne Gretzky, where are you?

    Sidney Crosby, why are you silent?

    Mario Lemieux, why so silent?

    

    Steve Nash, any comment?

    Mike Weir, what do you say?

    Donovan Bailey what do you think?

    Do you see the connection with who I mentioned?  These are just some of the great athletes who came out of Canada.  Did you happen to notice something about this?  They have not uttered anything about the Canadian truckers.  Here's my question:  Why?  Well...there are several reasons:

    Money...

    Money...

    And pure contempt for the working man...

    What would Wayne Gretzky have to lose if he spoke in support for the Canadian truckers?  What about Mario Lemieux?  One thing that the Canadian truckers should show you is the fact that your favorite athlete do not like people who get their hands dirty.  They literally sneer at you.  Disappointing, isn't it?  You paid all that money to cheer them on and support them from the stands and yet when you need them the most, they sneer at you.  It sucks but you shouldn't be surprised.

    Just remember all of this the next time you're thinking of going to a sporting event.  These guys only want your money- they don't care if you're abused by politicians.  I urge any Canadian athlete to step-up for the truckers out of pure decency.  Remember guys, you weren't famous your whole life.  The truckers need your support- do the right thing and step-up for them.
