Neil Young's Rationale: Amazon's Good But Rogan Bad-Wait...Huh?

The piety of Neil Young is annoying but he's a smug man lately because he's relevant for the first time in ages.  You know the story; he had a temper tantrum over Joe Rogan and now, he's pushing his fans to Amazon.  Yes, you heard this right, a 50-something-year-old podcaster who you can actually turn off if you don't like it, is more dangerous than Amazon.  Let me remind you the damage that Amazon has done to this country and the world.

Amazon has completely destroyed retail and yes people you can wave your finger at me but if you practice that so-called critical thinking that all of these pundits whine about you would realize that.  It really wasn't that long ago that we had choices, different places to go to find anything from books to electronics to clothes and I could go on and on.  Do you realize that when we had easily accessible retail, we had good supplies on a consistent basis?  Do you realize that when there were large accessible retail businesses, there were items MADE IN AMERICA CONSISTENTLY?  Do you also realize stores were also a source of interaction.  Malls were a lot of fun people you met your friends there and often spent a lot of free time there socializing there.  Retail stores was a good thing but most of them are gone, thanks to Amazon.

Yet Joe Rogan is the scourge of society...now go figure.

Do you want me to go on?  Well, I could be here all day.  Bezos owns the Washington Post which is so partisan that it can't even be trusted anymore.  The Washington Post, today, specializes in lectures not news.  What about the environment?   How many parks have been destroyed by Amazon distribution centers?  How about the working conditions in the distribution centers?  Well, you could get into a dissertation about all of these topics.  However, again, Joe Rogan is the bad one- right Neil Young?

Look, I don't give a shit about Neil Young but the overall idea that Amazon is just so much better than one podcaster is laughable.  Turn Rogan off if you don't like him but don't lecture me on what to buy or what to listen to.
