RIP Meat Loaf

     I wasn't a Meat Loaf fan but damn, you had to respect him.  The guy had longevity and a lot of talent.  I actually met him over 6 months ago at an autograph event in my area.  He was such a nice guy and he was also very talkative.  I was left with a great impression of a guy who loved life, his family and his fans.

    But unfortunately, as you know, he's dead.

    It appears that he died of COVID.  There are many, many media outlets gloating about this because he was anti-mask and anti-mandate.  There is a gleefulness in the media about this which I find despicable and downright horrifying.  At first glance, it seems like there are too many people in this country that spend too much time online and seriously need to get a life.  Secondly, the laughing about Meat Loaf's death shows how downright despicable, disgusting and horrible our media is.  In life there are two things you don't do:

    1.  Don't laugh or wish sickness on anyone.

    2.  Don't laugh at someone's death.

    Meat Loaf is to be respected for his music and his beliefs.  He made a choice.  If you don't agree with it- that's your business but DON'T LAUGH ABOUT IT.  Show some respect and honor the guy for the great entertainer that he was.

    RIP Meat Loaf....

    You will be missed.
