A Helpful List for the Supply Chain Crisis

We have a supply chain problem but you know that.  I was in retail for a long time and I've never seen anything like it.  I want all of you to take a good look at this list and stock-up.

1.  If you have pets and they like canned food, stock up on boxes of it (if you can find it).

2.  If you can't find canned food, make sure you have plenty of dried food for your can or dog to last the winter.

3.  Make sure you have plenty of frozen vegetables.  There might be a problem getting them in over the winter.

4.  Meat is expensive BUT TODAY GO OUT AND BUY SOME FOR YOUR FREEZER.

5.  Get canned goods, especially fruit.  There could be a big problem getting it in this winter.

6.  Buy your Christmas candy early.

7.  Stock-up on butter.

8.  Buy soap.

9.  Make sure you have a supply of toothpaste.  From my observations, it looks like toothpaste supplies are running low.

10.  Get plenty of boxed goods- yeah you're going to get sick of it but get them anyway.

11.  I've been told there could be a cooking oil shortage, make sure you have enough for the holidays.

12.  If you can, buy your holiday turkey and Christmas ham NOW.

13.  Make sure you have plenty of sugar and flour.

14.  If you can, order seeds.  Plant during the winter.  It couldn't hurt.

15.  If  you like to bake, buy the necessary the items (powdered and brown sugar, baking soda, chocolate chips, etc.).  Buy the necessary spices (salt is noteworthy).

16.  Ricotta cheese has a great expiration date- stock up.

17.  Stock-up on ketchup, salad dressing and necessary condiments.

18.  Make sure you have plenty of coffee and tea.

19.  Make sure you have plenty of laundry detergent.

20. Stock-up on the necessary cleaning supplies.

21.  Make sure you have the necessary paper towels and toilet paper.

Take a look at the list and consider my advice.  Trust me, I was in retail for a long time and I've never seen anything like this.  Protect yourself- everyone else is and you need to look out for yourself.
