Agendas Have Replaced Journalism

There is no real journalism anymore.  It's all about agendas.  Surprised?  Well, you shouldn't be.  Do you really have a full understanding of the coronavirus?  Of course you don't.  You know there's a dangerous virus sweeping across America and, unfortunately, a lot of people are getting sick.  Here are the questions though that remain about the virus:

Is it really like the bubonic plague?

Who is suffering the most?  At first, it was the elderly, but now it's kids.  What are the official numbers?  Yes, there's a variant going around but what are the exact numbers?  You have mainstream media worked up into hysteria about the kids but what's going on in the nursing homes?  Are they really safe now?  Sure, I know they're vaccinated but is this variant causing a lot of breakthrough infections in the elderly causing the variant to get worse?

Here's the thing- people have no exact answer.

Okay, what's the point about this- the situation with the virus needs clear answers.  Kids are the story and the fact that you're not sure if all were healthy, with a good weight, if they had a good diet or if they were in the hospital for something else.  Did you know that a lot of the virus numbers, last year, came from people who went in the hospital for something else?  Let me correct this- there were a few of those stories out there but there is no consistency on those answers.  I don't think you're going to hear a real answer on this and to the media all kids are the same.  It's frustrating but to a person who wants answers instead of an agenda- you're, unfortunately, going to be left banging your head off of a wall.

The virus is just further evidence that specific agendas have replaced journalism.  Journalism has turned into a field of lecturing, whining and propaganda.  Yes, the coronavirus is dangerous but thanks to what journalism has become, people aren't going to take it seriously enough to help defeat it and for that, the profession should hang its head in disgrace.
