The Unhappiness of Our Political Class

Every single day we have to hear how some progressive is just so upset about some aspect in society is 'racist.'  Yesterday it was the 4th of July.  Cori Bush wasn't celebrating- dammit.  She's oppressed and she's not free.  Maxine Waters was whining yesterday about Frederick Douglas.  According to her, minorities aren't free.

For the record, Cori Bush makes close to $200,000 a year and Maxine Waters is a millionaire.  Note, that Maxine Waters literally got away with sticking her nose into a state trial with remarks that got back to a terrified jury and she received no punishment for it.  As a matter of fact, those who wanted her punished for it were told they were bigots.  Gee, ladies- it must be nice to be oppressed with that money and be allowed to use your color to influence public events.  That doesn't sound oppressive to me.

Oh wait, I'm the one that's a bigot.

I'm the one with white privilege.

We have a lot of hateful people in Congress (on both sides).  It's easy to not trust the right and it's easy to understand why they're biting back at the left.  Did you ever notice that these so-called oppressed lawmakers never really tell you the ways they represent their own communities.  What has Cori Bush done to help St. Louis?  What has Maxine done for her area besides get richer?  The trouble is we're in a society that is so enslaved by the online world that it gives idiots like these 2 to continually whine about how 'unhappy they are with America.'  Did you also notice one thing about these poor, oppressed, unhappy  political representatives?

They haven't resigned and left the country.  Why would they? They're too busy counting their money.
