The Cell Phone: The Biggest American Distraction Ever
I think the invention of the cell phone was the downfall of America. Why? Well, I shouldn't talk. I have one and sometimes I play with it a little too much but here's the thing about cell phones- it was the biggest distraction to the entire American population. Here's what it's done:
It's completely destroyed the sense of childhood. Instead of reading a book, a kid now has a cell phone. Staying with kids, instead of playing games- they play a game on a cell phone. Instead of talking they text, along with most adults.
In terms of us adults, a cell phone is the complete center of our universe. We're a social media driven society who cannot live without sending a tweet. The cell phone has also opened the door to news, entertainment, etc. People have decided that they don't need people anymore and that is a bad thing but guess what?
Politicians love it.
The American obsession with the cell phone has led to politicians getting richer and a hell of a lot meaner. Think about it and try putting that phone down every so often. You'll be a better person for it.
