Kids Can't Have Fun Anymore

I feel sorry for kids.  Why?  Well, consider this-

As a Gen-Xer looking back, school, particularly elementary school was fun- ah what the hell high school wasn't even that bad.  Yeah, America I went to a small town public school and when I see these stories about activism, continuous protesting and the fact that dances have lost the 'Christmas Dance' name, etc- I just shake my head.  Come on people!

There's a story going around (I can't remember the school) where kids here news instead of the morning announcement from the principal.  Homecoming queen and king titles are disappearing.  Books that kids loved for years are now deemed 'inappropriate and racist.'  I'm confused about what kids are learning now since some even think math is racist.  History has been redefined and history is so, so interesting.  Besides that, school seems to be centered around making a lot of people a lot of money.

Are you listening Ibram X. Kendi?

Now, all people in power want kids to constantly wear a mask.  You do realize that this is a symbolic breaking down of a kid's spirit, don't you?  How can kids have fun in free time in school with masks?  Individualism has disappeared it's all about activism- activism- activism.

    Give me a break.

I'll excuse myself for saying that, in 2016, Bernie Sanders reminded me of my late dad.  With that being said, if I would've known that this big-mouthed, con artist was going to open up the door for wokeness, I would've fought against him.  Communism sucks- the socialists in Congress makes me sick and the fact that they've taken away fun for kids disgust me.
