Twitter the Root of the Hate

 

Let’s be blunt…

          Twitter is a cesspool.  It is a social media site that has turned into a pile of screaming peLet’s be blunt…

          Twitter is a cesspool.  It is a social media site that has turned into a pile of screaming people who think they know what’s right in society.  Of course, there some that are decent but most of it is now a clique or a cult of people that are just mean.  Did you hear that?  Twitter is a forum of people that are mean and rotten to the core.

          Question:  Whose fault is it?

          You could blame Trump for starting the trend of ‘Twitter politics’ because it was impactful and even the democrats, who are often slow to catch on to anything, realized they had a gold mine at their fingertips.  From there, it was easy for people like Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Ilhan Omar to jump on the train and pursue an easy way to make their impact on politics. 

          Before we go any further, you could say that the pandemic has made a lot of this worse and you would be 100% correct, people are stuck home and susceptible to rotten ideas by self-serving politicians.  Instead of doing their jobs and working hard for the public in the halls of Congress they are whining on Twitter telling you how rotten you are and how great they are because, for example, they have pronouns in their Twitter profiles.

          Please…

          At one time, and I’ve said this before, Twitter used to be extremely useful and at times fun.  I’ve quit it and rejoined it a ton of times and I’m proud to say I’m not on it now, nor will I return.  This country always is obsessed with hate speak and it’s no wonder- look at Twitter.  If you want to see people ruin your favorite movie, go to Twitter.  If you want to see history ruined- then go to Twitter.

          Then again, you can devote any energy you had towards doing something creative/constructive.  Don’t let Twitter run your life because the people on it can destroy you.  Fight the darkness known as Twitter and learn to think for yourself again.  You don’t need Twitter to make your life better, you have the power to do that on your own.  If you’re on Twitter, get off it.  Let it destroy itself because it will.  If you leave Twitter and let those sjw fools on there have their own echo chamber, they’re not going to have any power.  Leave Twitter- do it. 

          Trust me, you’ll be glad you did.
