When It Comes To The Coronavirus- Give Me Balance

          Let me state this again:

          Give me fairness.

I do not want to hear it anymore that I cannot be with my family during the holidays.  I don’t want to hear the lectures, the threats and continuous, “Your gathering will spread COVID-19.  Your gathering will spread COVID-19.”  Do you know why I do not want to hear it?  Well, let me state it again:

There was a certain part of this country that could do whatever they wanted all summer, supposedly in the name of ‘racial justice.’  These people were not only adored by the legacy media but worshipped by most of the independent media.  These people tore down statues, burned anything they could, harassed people and genuinely put the ‘r’ in rioting.  However, no matter what happened, in terms of COVID-19, nothing was ever the protesters fault.  Of course, they did not cause any problems because they were ‘outside.’  They wore ‘their masks’ and my oh my considering how much looting was done across the country this year isn’t it nice they all left their masks on…

The media, again, has let this country down the entire year.  The legacy media’s eagerness to scream, “BAD TRUMP,” and consult Twitter for their references just showed you how narrowly focused they are.  No lectures came from CNN or MSBC about the loud groups that marched for ‘racial justice.’  No one said anything when governors went arm in arm with them either.  There were no calls for social distancing and really no concern from the media about masks.

As a matter of fact, I heard doctors, say, “Go ahead and march for racial justice.”

Now, all the same people who let the rioters off are saying you must limit your travel or celebrate holidays at home.  Again, politicians who had no problem with people ruining Portland.  (Note their governor just laid down a hard lockdown mandate). Also, keep in mind that Chicago could celebrate Biden but now you cannot leave your house.  With all these events occurring, the legacy media just shrugs it shoulders and continues to call any riots a ‘peaceful protest.’

Again, I’m looking for something rare- balance.  I’m never going to get it though.  Social media will stop it and I don’t think the media today knows what it means.  The pandering and the back-and-forth of these politicians would give anyone in the media a great chance to ask hard questions but we’re not going to get any.  We live in a society to afraid of offending someone, we’re too scared to call anyone out and because of all of this…

There are a bunch of senior citizens locked in rest homes prevented from seeing their family because it’s been deemed to dangerous.  Isn’t it pathetic that rioters and looters get more respect that a senior citizen alone for the holidays?

By the way- did you hear about the high numbers of COVID-19 cases in Philadelphia?  If so- do you remember what they were doing last month?  Rioting, of course.

          Rioting…

Oh gee, I wonder why they have a high case count?
