The Democratic Party Is Extinct

 

          There is no democratic party.

          Let me repeat this- there is no democratic party.

          What we have in America are the republicans and the Twitter party.  The democratic party, as you know it, is gone.  It does not exist.  It is a myth, a memory and something to be mourned.  Call it what it is- it’s extinct.

          People are not that stupid.  They can see it.  Why do you think people went to Donald Trump?  The Twitter party has nothing to offer people except disdain, insults, sneers, and political adoration of people who really do not deserve it.

          This isn’t about a hatred of AOC.  I don’t, basically, hate anyone.  I am disgusted with her though.  There’s a big difference between that and hate.  I feel that a 31-year-old woman from New York City with just one term in Congress shouldn’t be the one to decide the party’s direction.  I shouldn’t have to fall in obedience to the will of a 31-year-old representative who doesn’t give a shit about anyone except making herself rich.

          The Twitter party is a party beaten into submission.  It’s a party that doesn’t believe in fairness or constructive criticism.  There is no inspiration in this party and there is no bravery.  It’s a party that bows to the will of its mistress-AOC.

          The democratic party is extinct, and I am glad that my dad didn’t live to see this.  He would’ve blown his top.  All of you can have the Twitter party.  If my thoughts aren’t good enough for you then the hell with all of you and the hell with the republicans too.
