The Hysteria of Trump Rallies

          In a huff about Trump’s rallies?  Well, it sure seems like many of you are.  In a span of 12 hours all I heard is continuous whining of how Trump’s rallies were going to spread the virus and even ditzy Anderson Cooper whined to Andrew Cuomo that people in Johnstown might spread it to New York.  He, of course, ate it all up.

          Andrew Cuomo should’ve known better than that.

          Look, I complain about the protests and I have every reason too.  These so-called ‘peaceful’ protests have destroyed cities and have literally left people living in fear.  They’ve gotten no punishment and continue to be celebrated by many politicians.  These so-called protests have been given the all-clear by these politicians but apparently nothing else.  So, here’s a reminder:

          Many schools are still online, along with colleges.

          There are no concerts.

          There are no shows (Broadway, Vegas, etc.).

          Some can get into sporting events but not many (at least in some places).

          Many jobs have disappeared.

          Holiday events are being canceled.  The no Macy’s Parade really sucks.

          And I could go on and on.  The point being, there are a lot of bored, frustrated people who have had it with the words ‘Covid’ and ‘lockdowns.’  A Trump rally, like the so-called peaceful, protests are things to do.  They’re events to kill your time. 

So, mainstream media, the next time you get in a huff about people going to a Trump rally, consider what has happened to society and get over it.
