When Are We Going to Wake-Up to the Covid Lecturing?

 

         

          Hey America, aren’t you tired of this yet?

          First, (and I am sick of giving a prerequisite on pieces), I am not doubting the power of Covid-19.  Secondly, this virus is endemic you are not going to be able to hide under the bed forever.  Third, this whole situation is just so bizarre that you are to the point of throwing up your hands.  Now, with all that being said…

          The warnings are floating about trick-or-treating.  “It’s unsafe,” say the doctors.  “Stay home,” doctors say.  In the meantime, this summer many doctors said this:

          “Oh, it’s okay to march for racial justice.”
          The war on Thanksgiving has started.  The so-called ‘social justice warriors’ have been whining about how racist it is for a few years now, but Covid-19 just gives them a bigger opportunity to destroy it.  “Oh, don’t have more than 3 at your Thanksgiving gathering,” says Governor Newsome.  Oh, really governor?  In the meantime, pulling down statues all over California is just fine, huh?

          “It’s okay to march for racial justice,” says the doctors.

          I just heard the Super Bowl might only have 20% attendance which means it is more of an exclusive party for rich people.  20% huh?  What happens if Biden’s elected then?  Is it going to be canceled?

          “Go out and march for racial justice,” says the medical community.

          Sadly, I heard that teen suicides are going up.  I am not really surprised but it is heartbreaking.  This Coved madness that everyone is in can drive everyone nuts.  How high are the numbers going up before people are going to realize that this is a problem?

          “Oh, but it’s okay to march for racial justice,” say various doctors.

          We live in a country where a lot of schools and colleges are now online.  People are living their lives in front of a screen.  Anything that you can find pleasurable is now the subject of blame for any spike in virus numbers.  However, the fact that people can riot and loot with no problem are still free from any kind of blame and even a shred from criticism.  The idea of being with your family is now being called a ‘super-spreader’ but people rioting, and looting are continuously praised. 

How can you sit there and honestly tell me that these riots are not spreading the virus?  How?  You have politicians bending over backwards to protect them.  You do not have investigative reporting anymore and if you question anything, you are called a racist.  I also find it hard to believe that everyone in these ‘protests’ are wearing masks.   In the meantime, you are looked down upon if you want to have Thanksgiving.

Aren’t you sick of this yet people?

          I know I am, and I cannot be alone.  So, when are we going to wake-up?
