So, Why Are You Protesting?

So, why are you protesting???

          Seriously, why?

          Please, spare me the George Floyd stories and even the stories about Breonna Taylor, a lot of you don’t even know or care who they were.  I still hold to the fact that many of the people joined these riots because of lockdown boredom but I digress.  However, I still ask again, why in the hell are you guys even protesting?  Haven’t you gotten pretty much whatever you wanted?  Well, consider this…

          A lot of you can shoot off fireworks 24/7 without consequence.

          Looting is still America’s number one hobby, again with no consequences.

          Hate a statue?  Mad that mom and dad took you to boring places when you were a kid?  Well, rip down a statue- nothing will happen to you.

          Sick of cops?  Well, go scream at some.  Nothing will happen to you.  You won’t even get blamed for spreading the virus. 

          As a matter of fact, if you’re doing a Black Panther imitation you won’t even get blamed for rising virus numbers in your country.

          In the end, what’s the point of these protests?  You’ve already won.  Oh wait- you like the power rush that it gives you, right?  Of course, you do but you can’t admit it- so you keep ‘protesting’ but guess what?  You can’t call yourself a protester anymore.  What many of you are at this point are all-out criminals.  Your protests are now to the point of being power trips and all of you are nothing but bullies.  Yeah, that’s right America, this lifelong democrat thinks 99% are selfish bullies, who get off on making people miserable.  No, people, I’ll never vote republican, I will write-in somebody in November but the democrats embracing these rioters as heroes makes me sick.
