It's Weird Outside

          Obviously, Covid-19 has made a horrible mark on the USA.  However, there are aspects to this virus that have left a lasting impact on society as we know it.  In other words, it’s weird outside.

          What does that mean?  It means, literally, what it says.  There’s a silence outside that’s scary and, granted, I’m in a quiet neighborhood.  However, you can sense that America, in some respects, as they lie waiting for this virus to be over is silent.

          Yeah, yeah, I know, I know.  The protesters are still running wild.

          Here’s the thing about these protesters- most, obviously, have an agenda, a few might really have good reasons but 90% of them are feeling the lockdown rage.  No matter how much any of you want to deny it there is a lockdown rage.  Just stop and think about it for a second not only are a lot of jobs gone but so are the sources of pleasure for most people including sports, the theater, going out to eat and in some communities their pools, zoos and parks are closed.  It’s no wonder that people are bored, ticked-off and taking to the streets to bellow that black lives matter.

          Yeah, yeah, I know.  To you what I just said might appear racist.  However, you need to consider my skepticism in people’s nature.  I doubt very much that if baseball, football training camp access, movies and concerts were available that most of these people would be out playing good, little protesters.  Besides that all of these people are having a good time because politicians are letting them pretty much do whatever they want.

          You can blame the state of the USA on many people starting with Trump and working down.  The media, as a whole, has really let us down with the constant blame game and their overall biasness in keeping the minority community happy.  I’ve said this once but it needs repeated, you CANNOT let a group of people go around and do whatever they want and expect others to fall in line.  Those who were following the rules are more apt to give you the finger and say, “Go to hell,” when it comes to mask wearing and social distancing.

          I don’t have the answers for the coronavirus.  I’m almost certain though if that senile Biden gets elected we’re headed for a national lockdown which is going to stink considering this country’s in economic ruin already and the democrats really don’t care if anyone in the white working class ends up broke.  More and more I’m apt to say that we should go the route of Sweden but America is a land of hysteria, big ideas and tweets, so who really knows what’s going to happen.

          It is indeed weird outside and it’s probably going to get weirder.
