Term Limits Proposal

          A lot of people have a lot of good ideas when it comes to politics and they’re only pleased to share them on Twitter but from there everything just falls into an abyss.  What’s the point?  You’ll never get to implement these ideas unless there’s fundamental change in the political system.   The only change that will get you anywhere is 2 word- term limits.

          For some reason people seem to be sneering at the idea of term limits.  I’ve been told a couple of times that term limits won’t work and the only explanation that I get to why is ‘uh-uh- well because of California.’

          Whatever…

          We are stuck in political quicksand and this is what I propose in terms of term limits.  Look at it, think about it and ponder it.

          Supreme Court:  10 years

          Federal Court:  8 years

          Senator:  2 terms

          Representatives:  3 terms

          Now, I can get a little more technical but just stop and think about it.  How nice would it be to get people like Pelosi, Feinstein, Hoyer, Graham, Cruz, etc. out of there.  How nice it would be not to have the Squad permanently fixed in Washington for 40 years.  Besides that, let me throw in there that you can’t run for president for the first time if you’re 70 and above.  If you turn 70-something in office fine- go for that second term but the idea of Biden being president for the first time at 77 is downright horrifying.
