AOC Isn't Your Environmental Savior

                All is right with the world people.  AOC is on a Biden climate change committee!!  Woo-hoo.  Thank goodness for those qualifications of being from New York, a first-term congresswoman and that economic degree.  I’m just so glad she’s bringing such insight and I’m sure she and John Kerry will save the world.

          Please.

          It’s pathetic that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the democratic face of environmentalism.  Why am I harping about this again?  It’s because I’m sick of it that’s why.  There are many, many people in this country who have been fighting the good fight.  Ralph Nader comes to mind and as a child of the 1980s I remember my dad listening to Nader many times on the radio talking about items like climate change.  However, for some strange reason, we’re supposed to fall in line for the expertise of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

          *Gag.*  Give me a break.  Let me remind all of you about AOC:

          1.  AOC isn’t a lawyer.  She has an economics degree.

          2.  AOC never promoted the great work that the Bronx has done in the area

          with their parks and zoo.

          3.  AOC has never cited or even consulted those who work in Central Park

          about its maintenance and how it attracts wildlife.

          4.  AOC has never promoted all the great birds you can see in New York.

          5.  When she campaigned, she had a huge Uber habit instead of using the

          subway.

          6.  Don’t forget it was revealed that AOC, like many, loves Amazon and

          just think of all those emissions those delivery trucks put out.

          7.  AOC also made planting a community garden into a racist issue while

          advocating for plants that didn’t match the climate.

          8.  Let’s not forget that AOC has no regard for certain parts of the

          population that have gotten sick due to environmental conditions. To her,

          it’s all about minorities and to hell with those white people.

          Do you want me to go on?  Of course not, all of you know what she is.  She’s all mouth and she’s an expert on everything.  When are you people going to get this?  To fight an issue like climate change you need someone who cares about it overall- someone who knows what they’re talking about.  You don’t need a 30-year-old, first term congresswoman who only knows how to tweet.  She thinks those twitchy Twitter fingers make her an expert and do you know what?  It makes her nothing but a female Donald Trump.

          The environment deserves A LOT BETTER than Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
