AOC Is No Savior

          Let’s recap a lot of past blogs that’s I’ve written about AOC and let’s reiterate, again, why this woman is unlikable and won’t ever be the savior that a lot of you desire.  First, let me say this-

          I get why a lot of you are looking for someone to take charge and save us all because I’m doing the same thing.  There are so many people in this country (America) that are hurting.  There is no way that people here should be hungry, homeless or uninsured.  We’re supposed to be the richest, most-developed country in the world, yet ordinary citizens are tossed aside like trash.  We are not a country that cares about ordinary people and a lot of citizens see this which makes them extremely desperate.  Someone like AOC sounds good because she plays the game well and always has due to one thing.

          People, AOC is what you call a social media politician.  If it wasn’t for a forum like Twitter, a lot of you wouldn’t even know who she is.  Twitter is a perfect forum to brag about yourself build yourself up to be something that you’re not.  If you don’t believe that look at Trump and then look at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez because both are cut out of the same cloth.  Obviously, this blog isn’t about Trump so would a lot of you JUST STOP AND THINK ABOUT AOC.

          How has AOC really impacted your daily life?  Seriously, how?  She has a lot of ideas about climate change but people, Ralph Nader was yelling about climate change when I was in high school in the ‘80s.  She’s a supposed environmentalist yet she never promoted New York City’s work to revitalize the parks or their beautiful wildlife.  Do any of you know how many birds are in Central Park?  Queens?  The Bronx?  Look at eBird if you don’t, you’d be surprised but I digress.  The point being, you never hear it from her because AOC is a figurehead in a cause that she knows nothing about.  From there you never hear her talk about cleaning streams, rivers or tree planting- sure she’s a great social media presence but that’s all she is.  Her credentials are her tweets and that’s pathetic.

          Moving on from there…

          She talks a great game about wages and labor.  However, voted for that stimulus bill, didn’t she?  From day one- she whined about Congress getting a raise.  I could go on and on about this, but we don’t hold this woman accountable for anything.  I hold to the fact that Twitter has literally turned people into cowards because this woman is going to continue getting away with being a woman of the people when all in all she does nothing to make our lives better. 

          And yeah, people, I know, she’s only one person but if you’re going to shove this woman in my face as a savior, you better damn well think about what this woman really is, she’s establishment like all the rest.
