Iran+Twitter=A Mess
Forget what I said the other day...
I'm keeping up with an all aspects theme on this blog. Whatever I want to yell about makes it in here. (Yeah, I'm flighty and I admit it.) Moving right along though, there are a ton of things to address here and naturally, Iran is first on the agenda. There are so many side angles to address here for one thing...
I don't know about you but I find Trump's Twitter habit to the point of being sickening. People are so brainwashed by social media that they seem to be under the impression his tweeting is just sooooo funny but COME OFF IT. When you're the leader of a country you shouldn't be threatening other countries via social media and democrats you are just as guilty here. If you stop and think about it, Twitter has to be one of the worst things ever invented. Why? Well consider this-
Politicians adore Twitter because it gives them a forum without questions. They can ignore whoever they want, when they want. Words are easier to dance with than a face-to-face situation. Tweeting can also pacify an angry public by sending out reassuring words that people want to here. Twitter is a babysitter-a pacifier and it's also a cop-out. Never mind a real interview with a politician, he or she (realistically one of their staff) will tweet whatever at a later day.
Twitter has also ruined journalism. There is no journalism in this country and it's becoming extinct all across the world in fact. Journalists should, by rights, be against Twitter because it prevents one from doing their job due to it's evasive nature. Instead it's celebrated as some kind of breakthrough- PLEASE. Look at what's happening with Iran- right now- this minute. It's the rantings of a maniac whose selfish nature has put all of us in danger.
God help us all.
