The Era of No Criticism

If you are on the far left- God help you if you criticize Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren or AOC.

If you are in the center- good thoughts for you if you if you criticize Hillary, Obama or Joe Biden.

If you are a republican, you'll never hear the end of it if you criticize Donald Trump.

So, what does all of this mean?  Criticism is a word that is going extinct.  If you criticize BAM you are hateful, misogynist, racist, etc.  Now, we live in a world where we can communicate with each other in an instant.  Why is it that we're not allowed to have our own opinion about anything?  In an era where we can't freely say "I don't like what (Trump, Bernie, Biden, Obama, etc) said."
Why??  What happened?

The democratic party for their constant whining that everyone's a racist can't wait to ignite fighting between various groups of people.  They love it and people fall for it.  To be honest, I think all of this technology, social media, etc. did it.  Why?

How?

I think it has to do with the overall status in society and by that I mean the fact that every single social place you can think of is closed.  There are no arcades, skating rinks and record stores.  Malls are becoming extinct and forget about bookstores- they're disappearing faster than malls.  With nowhere to spend your free time- people take to social media, looking for a crowd and the world of Twitter has opened them with open arms.  That is, of course, clique capital USA.

Twitter in itself really isn't a bad thing.  However people like Donald Trump, AOC, Greta Thunberg and many other movie stars do have a great time sowing seeds of division.  Words are easy to rile people up with and in order to get in the good graces of your favorite movie star or politician it's almost natural to turn 'cyber groupie' and attack anyone who disagrees with one of your favorites on a popular social media platform.  That's why the idea of 'having your own opinion' is under attack.  However...

Be careful what you wish for people.  You might want to shelter a bunch of rich, arrogant politicians, athletes and actors on Twitter but in the scheme of life they'll do nothing for you.  Besides where's the fun if everybody has the same opinion?
