Journalism Is Gone
Journalism has disappeared.
But this isn't new.
Journalism is a shell of itself.
Yeah, yeah, you know.
Journalism is all about commentary.
CNN and MSNBC prove that point.
The word 'question' has literally disappeared from our vocabulary and it has been replaced by another word called 'tweet.'
Ohhhhhh did I get your attention?
Yeah, you've noticed it. How can you not? But I'm sure you've shrugged it off. There's nothing really that you can do, you figure, except jump on that friendly bandwagon known as Twitter and that's fine. You do what you have to do. But let me remind you of why the concept of 'questioning' in journalism is actually important.
It's a check on the rich (businessmen, celebrities and politicians).
It informs.
It helps you make rational judgments.
It shows you exactly how many, many rich people sometimes reach the lowest levels to make even more money.
You know, I could sit here all day and basically be repetitive. The overall point is this- there is no journalism in this country. The concept of 'social justice' turns into a joke because of that fact. There's a cowardly attitude in this society disguised by our love for electronics. Those who do question are usually shunned because of it because of this journalism (as a whole) has now vanished and has been replaced by tweeting, name-calling, and headlines that include 'clap-back,' 'fires,' and stories about memes and farting. We are becoming more and more backward because of it and
We are in big trouble.
