Why Isn't Iron Maiden In the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?
Seriously, where in the hell is the respect for heavy metal? Does anyone know? Anyone want to take a guess? Here's something that makes this cat's whiskers twitch-
Iron Maiden isn't in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Why? Seriously, why? There's no earthly reason to keep Iron Maiden out of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Last year, Bruce Dickinson slammed it and to tell you the truth, I don't blame him in the least. It's run by a bunch of sanctimonious, uptight Americans. I believe he used the term sanctimonious and I'll throw out uptight. Due to the fact that they're old white guys, from England and actually call the Hall of Fame for what it was a farce. Bruce Dickinson is absolutely right about the Hall of Fame- people who run the place wouldn't know rock if it slapped them in the face.
But still...
When you think about the fact that Iron Maiden- the ultimate metal band, along with Judas Priest and even the Scorpions are out of the Hall of Fame you have to wonder what in the hell people are thinking. COME ON AMERICA. No matter how you want to deny it metal is a part of the history of the world- it's the backbone of Generation-X and it seems like no matter what- people really like to bend over backwards to try to erase the fact that Generation-X even exists in all aspects of life politics, music and movies. Keeping 3 prominent metal bands out of the Hall only proves that and to all of you I give a paw, a claw and a middle finger from my human!!!
