All of You Knew What Nancy Pelosi Was
I noticed, again, that more and more people are whining about Nancy Pelosi. I see people complaining that she doesn't like AOC's plans, she doesn't want #MedicareForAll and she doesn't do enough to defend Omar, blah- blah- blah. So, instead of such moral outrage- let me ask all of you this:
Why are all of you so surprised?
All of you knew what Nancy Pelosi was and that's a selfish, greedy, old woman who LOVES HER POWER. She, literally, has done nothing for the democratic party and she, by rights, should've stepped aside in favor of new leadership for the sake of the party. Instead, all of the people- AGAIN ALL OF THE PEOPLE- who whined continuously:
"It's time for new leadership."
"I'm not voting for Pelosi..."
And on and on, literally, went back on their word and voted for her. They sold out to get powerful committee spots and you even had your heroine (AOC) call her the most 'progressive.' None of you questioned it- a lot of you shrugged your shoulders and now you're back to whining about her again. Only a few literally stuck to their word and didn't vote for Pelosi but you progressives hate them because AOC says they're just to moderate- so again let me ask this:
Why is their no consistency in your complaining?
All of you wanted change but you didn't question when your heroines sold out to get power. So my point to you is, complain about Nancy all you want but your 'dynamic progressive class' sold all of us out and put her back in a seat of power. So, don't be surprised that Nancy is so rotten- she's not going to change just because AOC sends you a reassuring tweet.
