The National Park Trashing
During this shutdown, as you know, national parks are being trashed.
Did you hear that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?
Oh wait- should I repeat it?
National parks are being trashed. People are cutting down trees, throwing trash everywhere, etc. Are you interested now, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez?
Are those crickets I hear in the background? I thought so.
Do you know what really bugs me? Well, a lot of things bug me but this attitude of so-called millennial environmentalists bugs me the most. Granted there are some on there that actually gets it- they know that all of us have screwed-up the planet and contributed in our own way to climate change. However, this group that Ms. Ocasio-Cortez seems to lead with the 'Oh-oh you older people just ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuined it for us millennials,' are annoying. The simple reason for that is: ALL THEY DO IS TWEET! Now, for a bunch of so-called 'climate change activists' I don't see any of their concern with regards to the trashed national parks.
Look, you can agree with me or disagree but if you're going to go all in for a 'Green New Deal' you need to do more than tweet, whine and have a temper tantrum. You need to set an example and get it through that swelled head that there is a lot more to protecting the earth than what you think.
Go pick up some trash in a national park Ms. Ocasio-Cortez. Go ahead- show people what your made of- what to busy? Isn't that funny you have all this time to scream at everyone online yet you really can't do anything to show people you're sincere with regards to a particular cause.
