The Biden/Bernie Race
There's something going on that no one is really mentioning about the upcoming democratic party and that's strategy. Who's going to jump on these 2 things first...
'I'll protect Medicare no matter what happens with health care,' or, 'seniors will always have health care.'
'I'll protect Social Security.'
I figure 2 people will talk about these items- Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders. The question is- who's going to get to it first? Now, say what you want about this so-called 'Russia investigation,' but Trump won for 2 reasons and they were:
1. Visiting PA, OH, WI and MI over and over.
2. And saying that he would 'protect Medicare and Social Security,"
Now, again, if you want to howl and Russia did something go ahead. I have no idea what they did or didn't do. I have no security clearances and frankly to have it portrayed that people are so dumb that they needed a country to make up their minds for them is rather insulting but I digress. Personally, I believe a lot of Trump's troubles with Russia deals with cash and, hopefully, there's a nice, clean cell waiting for him at the end of the road. Now, with all of that being said, I hold to the fact that if Trump didn't have anything to do with Russia at all and just said, "I'll protect Medicare and Social Security," he would've won anyway. You can tell he's a greedy idiot by his past actions. Now, since we're coming closer to primary season (oh God) the question is- will someone in this godforsaken democratic party remember what he did and jump on it?
Probably.
For some reason, I keep thinking Biden will. He knows there are a lot of people over 55 out of work, afraid of losing everything and terrified of the future. As of right now, Bernie seems to hung up on the idea of millennials and I know you people DON'T WANT TO HEAR THIS but if Bernie doesn't start talking about senior health care and Social Security more Joe Biden will be the nominee. Paula Swearengin, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Justice Democrats aren't going to get you that nomination. Start talking to seniors Bernie- if you don't you'll go nowhere. I don't want Biden to jump on this first- since Obamacare has been struck down it's time for you to win this race Senator Sanders with 2 things...
