Your End of the Week Reminder List
As usual we have the Saturday reminder list- keep it in mind progressives. It's a helpful tool!
It's always important to reiterate that Beto O'Rourke couldn't beat Ted Cruz (and he probably still wouldn't if you had an election today).
Representatives Omar and Ocasio-Cortez have been in Congress two months- yet for some strange reason domestic and foreign policy are revolving around them.
Shrug it off all you want, but the next time you hear environmentalism AOC talk remember that she used (and still uses) a lot of vehicles instead of taking advantage of the NY subway.
Keep in mind for all of the whining that kids are caring about climate change- A LOT OF THEM still don't play outside.
I know , you are giddy about Bernie and I agree, so far, so good, but a lot of you thought Elizabeth Warren would automatically throw her support behind him in 2016 and look what happened. Remember, the reason I say this is, all of you are going down the same path with AOC.
Keep in mind that when agriculturist (AOC) says 'we have to take a look a factory farming,' the premise sounds great but it's funny that she took Trump's favorite phrase, 'we have to take a look at-"
Keep in mind that when Omar and AOC open their mouths they're distracting you from items like- removing protections from wolves, Arctic drilling, that wall possibly blocking butterflies and so much more. What? You're not impressed? Hey- that's fine- but in a couple of years when you wake-up and say, "Hey when did this happen?" Come back and read this blog again.
Now, here's a good one, I completely forgot about this too. First, I like to have on interesting things in the background while working- sports, music, etc. The other day I listened to Ralph Nader's movie 'An Inconvenient Man,' and completely forgot that Susan Sarandon who everyone considered a political martyr sold out in 2004 for the sake of getting Kerry elected. Never again, will I rise to Hollywood's defense.
Keep in mind that Ralph Nader has been saying Nancy Pelosi is a bad leader for the party and oh how right he is.
Don't forget there are 435 members of the House.
Don't forget Trump autographed a lot of Bibles in Alabama. That says something for him and that state- wow.
Keep in mind that it's important to question- no matter who the politician is. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may sound great to a lot of you but this 'it's my way or the highway' attitude is a joke. Call her out- call them all out- democrat or republican. Hell, I don't even agree with Ralph Nader 100% of the time.
Finally- if you're disgusted with the presidential candidates for 2020 again I urge all of you to think about Rocky the cat- you can find him on Twitter @Rocky4President.
