Could These 2 Be the Smartest Politicians in America?
Sherrod Brown and Jeff Merkley aren't running for president.
Hmmmm…
Surprised? A little but it's interesting. You would've thought that maybe, just maybe, at least one of them would've thrown their hat into the ring. The democrats, as you know, have no way to get Ohio and Brown might've been the key to at least win 2 out of the big four. As for Merkley, you have to give him props for having the guts to have given Bernie Sanders support in 2016 and the fact that instinct says- this dude actually seems like he'd be a good president. He has compassion (note the concern he had for the migrant kids) and the smarts. Besides that, how can you not like a guy who wants to make kitten killings illegal?
But I digress...
You really can't blame these two for not wanting involved in this mess. The stage seems set for Biden and a Kamala push seems inevitable. Besides that who wants to answer questions about AOC 24/7 or just hear what 3 women in the House think? Don't forget the mess of contenders already in this presidential mess which is exactly what it is a mess. Femininity in every direction which makes it certain that
A: A lot of talk about nothing and everything will be involved.
B. They're all experts on everything.
C. They're exempt from criticism because of their sex.
This really makes me wonder about Biden. If he enters this race which is sounding more probably every day- how certain is it that he's going to get this nomination? Something smells really, really bad here because it seems like that he'd want to steer clear of this mess but whoever considered Biden reasonable?
Maybe Brown and Merkley's respected decisions are just icing on the cake. No to Bernie and go Biden go- like I said, if you thought Rocky the cat looked good for president YESTERDAY-- he looks better today!!!!
