The Hijacking of the Environmental Movement

Let's establish one thing- there is a climate change problem.  However, there's actually something that you, a regular person, could do about this.  You never hear about this though.  You never really hear about what you can do.  Sure, it's easy to blame corporations and they've ruined a lot of people's lives with pollution and dumping garbage into water.  However, let me tell you what's wrong with all of the protesting, yelling and screaming about climate change.

Those who are the most hysterical about climate change and the word hysterical might be harsh have done extreme damage to the environmental movement.  There's a big difference between someone like Ralph Nader talking about it than someone like Greta Thunberg screaming, "How dare you."  Don't get this wrong having a leader for the younger generation is great but you do have to wonder about her motivations and my guess is she's a bigger phony than many realize but I digress.

The so-called activist class has run environmentalism in the ground.  Those who worry about a declining bird population, for example, aren't finding many allies because of people like Extinction Rebellion trashing cities.  People aren't going to care the Endangered Species Act because the older population doesn't want a group of kids screaming in their faces about carbon footprints.  Do you see where I'm going here?  The activist class has hijacked the environmental movement with temper tantrums and tweets.  They won't listen to reason and they won't address sub-issues.  There's so much that we can do- right now but we're losing a golden opportunity because organizations like CNN and big tech have literally turned climate change into a whiney, hysterical cause that will be tuned out because no one wants to hear it from people who have no idea what the world's about.
