The Coddling of AOC

The dumbest thing I ever did was delete my original Twitter Smokey account.  Why?  Well, I could have the ultimate proof of:  I told you so!!!

Of course, you heard about the AOC tale.  She was so traumatized and now she has a ‘victim of sexual assault story.’  PLEASE….

I’m sure you’ve figured out that I don’t believe a word of her mouth.  Yes, she did a horrible thing by ripping up the officer that was trying to help her during the Capitol riot.  It’s obvious that the cop was trying to protect her because she was famous but for crying out loud to turn this into a ‘cop was after me’ story is despicable.

Let me also add this, I’m sick and tired of certain aspects of the independent media (Timcast) referring to anyone that rips this woman up as a ‘boomer.’  Who in the hell are they kidding?  This is the same group of people that make sure they shield their AOC criticisms with, “Oh I knew she was scared but-’

This Gen-Xer says fuck you Timcast.  I’ll criticize who I want as much as I want and yeah, I’m ranting and sure this won’t get many views but that’s okay.  The thing that annoyed me about this podcast was that they bent over backwards to dress-up their criticism of AOC with, I knew she was scared but-

I contend that if she was on the fat side like a Katie Porter- they would’ve slammed her completely instead of dressing up their AOC Instagram criticism.

          Okay, I got off track.

Yes, the Capitol riot was horrible and so were all the riots and so were all the riots in the summer of 2020.  What about Portland?  How about Seattle and Olympia being torn apart?  Oh no, we must hear all of this being rehashed again and again.  Now, suddenly, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez can’t be questioned because she was a sexual assault victim, and this story of her Capitol riot experience will be played repeatedly.  Funny how this ‘assault’ never came up when the Kavanaugh hearings?  It’s despicable that the term ‘sexual assault’ has been used to promote one woman’s continuous agenda to promote herself.

People, like certain podcasts, think ignoring the problem will go away.  Letting AOC get away with these continuous melodramas will make more and more news that you SHOULD KNOW disappear from the airwaves.  If there was any sort of real journalist in Washington, they would question her heavily about the cop that tried to save her, the ‘sexual assault’ allegation and on and on but they won’t.  The media has been chopped off at the knees (thank you Bill Clinton).  Letting AOC go unquestioned is a mistake.  In the scheme of life, her status in Congress does nothing to help the American people but to continuously excuse her melodrama will only makes her more emboldened.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, in the end, will be an irrelevant member of Congress who will probably pass no worthy legislation.  What AOC’s Instagram melodrama does is shield you from that fact.  She’s worthless but continuous adoration from a bored online crowd just emboldens her more.  How does anyone have the time to watch her rant anyway?

That, my friends, is one of the world’s greatest mysteries.
