I Understand That Impeaching Trump Sounds Good But...
I get why people want impeachment. How could I not get it? Wednesday was a horrible day, and the
president has a lot to answer for but…
Oh man, not a but!
In my world, Trump would have resigned
the day after the riot but that would have been way too easy. What the democrats are doing is handing Trump
a chance to stay relevant, to stir the pot more and to possibly cause more
violence. Do you really think that impeachment
will stop his cult-like following? Who
are all of you kidding? They are just
looking for an excuse to get stirred up again.
The age of the coronavirus does not
help this people, but I’ve told all of you this before. The endless closures, cancellations, etc.
have people nuts and the way doom and gloom Biden to add more fuel to this
fire. I predict that Biden’s first 100
days will be filled with a lot of pious lecturing, false promises, and visions
of wokeness. In the meantime, no one
will be paying close attention because the soap opera of Trump will be
continuing with more impeachment drama.
Oh god…
Trump has screwed this country up so
much from the post office, to lack of infrastructure plans to destroying
anything positive that involves the environment. There is so much to do and the democrats,
literally, have so little time. Do they
not understand that they are not going to be in control forever? As hard as it is for the public to believe-
the democrats will not maintain rigid control of the government for a long
period of time. Why? Well, consider how they act towards the
common person. Democrats, like
republicans, generally hate working people and it doesn’t matter what race you
are.
But this is another subject for
another day…
I think an impeachment trial gives
Trump exactly what he wants- attention.
I think that this is nothing but an open platform for him to cause more
problems. I also believe that a 25th
Amendment approach would have been much more useful in this situation. I think that could have easily cut off any
angle from ever running for office again because you would have had ‘crazy old
man’ label following him around forever.
It’s actually a shame that Mike Pence doesn’t have the guts enough to
pull a 25th Amendment stunt off.
This impeachment isn’t about the good
for country, it’s about distraction. It’s
about revenge and it’s about excuses.
Trump is going to be the perfect excuse when all this promised
legislation never comes to pass. I doubt
you will get your $2,000 check. I’m
skeptical about any Green New Deal as long as Manchin and Murkowski are around,
and I could go on and on.
Anyway, here’s the amusing thing about
impeaching Trump- why wasn’t it started the following day if it was so
important? Another item to consider is
his track record over the last 4 years, the dude has been a walking ‘impeach me
anytime’ president since day one of his presidency. It’s sad that drama has taken such force over
something that could’ve been done two or three years ago.
