Happy 2021! (A Sarcastic Bit)
Happy New Year everyone and oh yeah-
it’s been a long time, but I have returned with wit, wisdom, observations and
the usual questions that still flummox me to this day, especially when it comes
to this pandemic.
Of course, you realize that we’re
supposed to be at an exciting time because there’s a vaccine for Covid-19. Isn’t that nice- after just months of
research there’s a vaccine already to be shot into your arm without any
difficulty. To top it all off, there are
many vaccines- it’s an assembly line all ready for your personal intake.
You know, it’s funny they devote more
to curing cancer than they did with this vaccine. Just saying.
Wait, who am I kidding? It ticks
me off. Isn’t there anyone else mad
about this-why is it-BOOM there’s a vaccine for COVID-19 but when it comes to
cancer you get the chemo and a, “aw it’ll be fine.”
Moving right along…
America starts a predictable path this
year by bumbling. Seriously, people, why
in the hell is there such a slow rollout of this vaccine? What’s the problem? Really- the answer should be obvious enough
on who should be getting this vaccine- the elderly in the nursing homes and
with that they should be allowed to see their families. But no- we must make everything complicated, to
virtue signal to come up with a tweet that everyone will like. See, that’s just it- every single policy
decision seems like it falls back on the opinion of Twitter which really sucks.
I look at 2021 with skepticism, mostly
because I don’t like how we’ve been lectured and babied by the so-called media. Never did I think 2020 would leave us with so
many lack of answers and so many people cowered into wearing masks. Here’s to a little optimism that people will
wake-up about what a controlling bunch of bastards those people in DC are and
here’s hoping that 2021 can go back to being a fun time again. However, skepticism reigns, along with people’s
love for living in front of a computer screen!
