A Green New Deal Flashback
A long time ago, when I started this blog, I wrote about the Green New Deal pat on the head. What is that you ask? That's when you sit and listen to politicians like Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and that's all they address every single environmental issue. "Oh don't worry, everything will be just fine because we're going to have a 'Green New Deal.'

Let me ask a question- am I the only person out there that think Bernie Sanders's act is getting really old. Okay, that might be another topic for another day.
Seriously, the Green New Deal pat on the head seems to be getting worse. Now, I'm sure you have heard about Bernie and AOC coming out with this fantastic Green New Deal plan for public housing. Oh goody- jump up and down and do a backflip. Another fantastic plan bought to you by the favorite environmentalists. So, what does their plan actually mean?
Seriously, if you are an American who cares about the environment- what does this plan bought to you by Bernie and AOC mean? How will it impact your life and anything that you care about when it comes to the environment? How can continuous announcements of policies emphasizing the phrase 'Green New Deal' actually many mean anything?
It doesn't. It's talk and it's absolutely nothing but a pat on the head to appease a lot of desperate people looking for answers and do you know what? The environment and this nation's wildlife deserves a lot better than the pat on the head and a whisper of a 'Green New Deal.'
