Don't Feel Sorry For the Squad

Just for the record, before I rant I never liked Nancy Pelosi. To this day, I always thought the democratic party would've been better off if Jack Murtha would've gotten that leadership job over Pelosi. However, with the desire to put a woman in power Nancy, obviously, is still there and she's not going anywhere, along with the ever famous 'squad'  of AOC, Omar, Tlaib and Pressley.  What's my point?

Don't feel sorry for the 'squad?' All four of them know exactly what they're doing and they're having a great time doing it.

As you already know, AOC is howling that Pelosi is a racist.  Oh boy- isn't this special- in the beginning of the year she was calling her 'the most progressive' and now she's a racist.  Well, people call this nit-picking but let's just take a quick glance at what AOC has been up to since her victory over Crowley.

1. She got to travel all over the country campaigning for other democrats.  Now, the funny thing about that was that people seemed to shrug that off.  I always thought that was odd considering that she constantly whined that she was the working class, blah- blah- blah.  Well, it's all said and done now but you have to wonder who paid for her travels.

2. AOC campaigned on changing leadership but oh boy she VOTED FOR PELOSI ANYWAY.  Let's contrast her with Conor Lamb.  Now, I don't agree with everything out of Lamb's mouth and he'll probably support Biden but I give him credit- he didn't vote for Pelosi and she made him pay for it.  He was relegated to committees that you don't really hear of while an unqualified bartender who really should learn how to speak snagged prime committee positions.

3.  For some reason, AOC has also been allowed for months to run at the mouth throwing out the insults with no consequence.  Oh sure- everyone in rural America is racist- forget older people because like- ah like they're not on Twitter and uh like trains will save the environment- uhhuh sure.

(Yeah, I mocked her speaking- so what?)

These three points have illustrated the point that she roared into Congress on a Twitter high with the urge to do what she wants when she wants.  No one seems that disturbed that she's dangling an endorsement like Warren did in 2016 and forget the fact that an unqualified person is always the first one the media turns too because she has a snappy social media presence.  As for the other three, they're generally following the same pattern but that brings about the question.

Why am I so hard on AOC anyway?  Well, let me tell you...

A dirty secret of small town America is the fact that a lot of white people are suffering from various illnesses and even have cancer due to things like Halliburton or a power plant close by.  Now, I don't have cancer (thank god) but the shadow is always there.  A lot of people I went to high school with have it though and it'll probably get worse.  According to AOC though, people like my hometown doesn't matter and well, we're all a bunch of racists anyway.  If you think I'm being a little melodramatic go back and listen to the stuff she's said in the past year.

The moral of the story?

In this constant victimization mini-series of AOC and her precious squad- save your pity.  Don't feel sorry for them.  All four of them are set for life and will have jobs for life.  This whole incident with Pelosi is nothing but an act and as time goes on hopefully more of you will wake up to the frauds that all of them are.
